Snorkelling and Whale Watching

Details & Itinerary

In the morning we set off to the south of the Island. Our first stop is to champagne reef beach to do the snorkelling. It got its name because of the bubble which rises from the seafloor as if you are swimming in a glass of champagne. There is a rich collection of sealife for your viewing pleasure.

We will have our picnic lunch on the beach before heading off on the next part of our adventure. Dominica has become the capital for Whalewatching, due to the island’s resident sperm whales. There is an 85 to 95 % chance of seeing whales. You may also see dolphins and flying fish. The sperm whales do not live far from land. We will spend the afternoon on the sea
