Day 1 – Arrival, Welcome Dinner
Welcome to the “Nature Island of the Caribbean”! Your scenic drive from the airport winds through lush rainforest and rolling green valleys, offering a preview of the beauty Dominica holds. After arriving at Hibiscus Valley Inn, you’ll check in to your Nature Bungalow or Semi Deluxe room and unwind from your journey. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. as you settle in to the sounds of the surrounding jungle.
Day 2 – Carib Territory & Waterfall Discovery
Your first full day begins with a guided hike to the stunning Twin Falls, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim beneath cascading waters. Next, you’ll visit the Emerald Pool, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its vibrant green hue. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the Kalinago Territory for a cultural experience among the indigenous people of Dominica. The evening closes with a special Christmas Dinner celebration featuring local flavors and warm holiday atmosphere.
Day 3 – River Tubing & Rainforest Flavors
After breakfast, enjoy an exciting tubing journey down the scenic Pagua River, surrounded by untouched rainforest. The adventure continues with a guided walk through the forest to learn about local medicinal plants and biodiversity. A traditional “cook-up” lunch will be prepared riverside, giving you a taste of true Dominican outdoor cuisine.
Day 4 – Indian River Tour & Coastal Beauty
Explore Dominica’s famous Indian River on a guided boat ride through serene mangroves. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a black sand beach, followed by your choice of a scenic hike to Syndicate Falls for birdwatching or a visit to Fort Shirley, a historic British fort overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
Day 5 – Free Day or Optional Adventures
Take this day at your own pace. For those who want to relax, you can swing in your hammock or dip in the nearby river. If you’re looking for more action, optional tours include whale and dolphin watching, snorkeling, canyon hikes, and even a day trip to explore the capital, Roseau. Optional tours are available at an additional cost.
Day 6 – Boiling Lake or Roseau Valley
For adventurous guests, a full-day hike to the Boiling Lake offers a dramatic journey through volcanic terrain and the famous Valley of Desolation. You’ll swim in Titou Gorge and experience Dominica’s wild side up close. Alternatively, choose a more relaxed day tour of the Roseau Valley, including Middleham Falls, hot springs, and a visit to the city.
Day 7 – Calibishie Tour & Chocolate Tasting
This scenic day includes a visit to a family-owned chocolate factory where you’ll see the bean-to-bar process and sample rich Dominican chocolate. The tour continues with a stop at a natural black sand beach, then on to the stunning Red Rock lava formations. A short hike takes you to Chaudiere Falls, where a cool swim in its natural pool awaits.
Day 8 – Beach & New Year Celebration
Your final full day is reserved for rest and reflection. Relax on a golden sand beach just a short walk from the inn, swim in the Caribbean Sea, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, ring in the new year with a festive New Year’s Celebration Dinner, complete with music, dancing, and a joyful Caribbean vibe.
Day 9 – Departure
Enjoy a final river swim and breakfast before your transfer to the airport. Departure times are scheduled based on your flight.
